Baltimore, Maryland — residential

A bed, and a room to think in.

P2H Recovery is residential treatment for people who need to be out of their environment to get traction. Structure, clinical hours, and a bed that stays yours while you do the work.

Not yet admitting

P2H Recovery is in the Part 1 phase of the Joint Commission's two-part early survey; the survey is being rescheduled. Maryland licensure follows accreditation. We are not admitting patients yet, and this page will say so until that changes.

Levels of care

Placement comes from an ASAM assessment and gets revisited as things change — it is not fixed to a template on day one.

If this is not the right level

How it works

What a day actually looks like

Residential is not a waiting room with a TV. The day is built, and the structure is most of the medicine.

MorningsCommunity meeting, then a clinical group — skills, relapse prevention, or process work.
AfternoonsIndividual therapy, medication appointments, case management, family calls.
EveningsMutual-aid meetings, recovery skills, and unscheduled time that is still supervised.
OvernightAwake staff on site every night, all night.
WeekendsLighter schedule, visitation, and the part where you practice an ordinary day.

Who this is right for — and who it isn't

This is the right level when

Home is where the using happens
Outpatient has been tried and did not hold
Withdrawal is managed but stability is not
A co-occurring condition needs daily eyes on it
Court, child welfare, or an employer is asking for residential

You need something else first when

You need medically monitored withdrawal first — we will arrange it
You are medically or psychiatrically unstable right now
You are at immediate risk — call or text 988
You can be safe at home, in which case outpatient is the better and cheaper answer

The assessment sorts this out honestly. Nobody is admitted to a level they do not need.

Paying for it

Cost will not be the reason you stop

We verify benefits before you arrive and tell you the real number, not a range.

InsuranceMost commercial plans and Maryland Medicaid, verified before admission.
The real numberYou get an out-of-pocket figure in writing before you pack a bag.
No surprisesIf your coverage changes mid-stay, we tell you the day we find out, not at discharge.

You don't have to be ready. You have to call.

Someone answers every hour of every day.
